The 2026 Wyoming gubernatorial election is scheduled to take place on November 3, 2026, to elect the next governor of Wyoming. The primary elections will take place on August 18, 2026.[1] Incumbent Republican governor Mark Gordon is term-limited and ineligible to seek re-election to a third consecutive term.
Democrats have not won a statewide election in Wyoming since Dave Freudenthal was re-elected governor in 2006.
