The 2026 Lexington, Kentucky mayoral election will be held on November 3, 2026. The primary election will be held on May 19, with the top two candidates advancing to the general election.
Incumbent mayor Linda Gorton, who was reelected in 2022, is running for reelection for a third term in office. Mayoral elections in Lexington are nonpartisan; Gorton is a member of the Republican Party.[1]
