The 2025–26 season is the 147th season in the history of Swindon Town Football Club and their fifth consecutive season in League Two. In addition to the domestic league, the club would also participate in the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, and the EFL Trophy.

EFL Trophy

Swindon were drawn against Milton Keynes Dons, Reading and West Ham United U21 in the group stage.[105] After winning the group, Town were drawn at home to Peterborough United in the round of 32.[106][107] and away to Luton Town in the round of 16.[108][109] They were expelled from the competition on 4 February after playing two ineligible players against Luton.[110]
