EFL Cup
Brighton entered the competition in the second round, and were drawn away to Oxford United.[136] They were then drawn away to Barnsley in the third round.[137][138] Following successive 6–0 away victories, Brighton were drawn away again in the fourth round, this time to fellow Premier League side Arsenal.[139]
