In addition to the domestic league, the club would also participate in the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, and the 2025–26 EFL Trophy.

Managerial changes

On 28 January, Michael Appleton was sacked as the clubs head coach after forty three matches in charge and a win ratio of 20.93%.[1] A day later, Gavin Cowan was appointed as the new head coach after a compensation agreement was made with Brackley Town.[2]
