The 2025–26 season is the 140th season in the history of Plymouth Argyle Football Club and their first season back in League One since the 2022–23 season following relegation from the Championship in the previous season. In addition to the domestic league, the club also participates in the FA Cup, the EFL Cup, and the EFL Trophy.

On 31 May 2025, manager Miron Muslić departed the club for German club Schalke 04, after four months of managing the Greens to fight for safety in the Championship during the previous season.[1] Two weeks later, Tom Cleverley was appointed as the club's new head coach on a three-year contract.[2]
