Višňov (Slovak pronunciation: [ˈʋiʂɲɔw]; Hungarian: Visnyó) is a village and municipality in the Trebišov District in the Košice Region of south-eastern Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1270.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 131 metres (430 ft)[3] and covers an area of 4.76 km2 (1.84 sq mi) (2024).[4]
