Veľaty (Hungarian: Velejte) is a village and municipality in the Trebišov District in the Košice Region of south-eastern Slovakia.
History
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1280.
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 141 metres (463 ft)[3] and covers an area of 12.04 km2 (4.65 sq mi) (2024).[4]
