Settled Land Act 1925
The Settled Land Act 1925 (15 & 16 Geo. 5. c. 18) is an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that consolidated enactments relating to settled land in England and Wales.[1]

Subsequent developments
The Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (c. 47), which came into force on 1 January 1997, provided that no settlement created after its commencement could be a settlement for the purposes of the act, preventing the creation of new strict settlements while preserving the act's operation for settlements already in existence at that date.[3]
