The Statute Law (Repeals) Act 2004 (c. 14) is an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
Background
It implements recommendations of the Law Commission and the Scottish Law Commission.[2]
Provisions
The act repealed 68 acts completely and parts of 400 others.[3][4]
The act repealed legislation relating to powers for the Metropolitan Police to license shoeblacks or commissionaires and offences relating to impersonating a shoeblack or a commissionaire.[5]
