Ruda Góra (German: Galgenberg) is a mountain in the Włodzickie Hills, part of the Nowa Ruda Depression, part of the Central Sudetes in south-western Poland. It rises to 516 metres (1,693 ft) above sea level.[1]
Geography
Ruda Góra lies in Kłodzko County in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, near the town of Nowa Ruda. The mountain forms part of the northern section of the Włodzickie Hills, a group of rounded elevations situated between the Owl Mountains and the Table Mountains in the Sudetes.[1]
The hill rises above the valley of the Włodzica River and the surrounding settlements in the Nowa Ruda area. Nearby elevations of the Włodzickie Hills include Krępiec, Pisztyk, and Pardelówka.[2]
The slopes of Ruda Góra are mostly forested, with mixed woodland typical of the Central Sudetes. Forest roads and local walking paths cross the area and connect with the network of tourist trails in the Włodzickie Hills.[2]
