Species

Desulfomonile is a Gram negative, strictly anaerobic, and non-motile bacterial genus from the phylum Thermodesulfobacteriota.[1][3][4] Desulfomonile bacteria can reduce sulfur oxyanions to H2S.[4] It is the only known member of the family Desulfomonilaceae, order Desulfomonilales, and class Desulfomonilia.
