Abbasabad (Persian: عباس آباد)[a] is a village in Virmuni Rural District[4] of the Central District in Astara County, Gilan province, Iran.

Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 3,623 in 888 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,674 people in 476 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,657 people in 508 households.[2]
Attractions
Important places in this neighborhood include the Daneshjoo Park, Estil Lagoon Beach Park and Astara Bird Garden.[8]
