All six of the league's teams met in the double-elimination tournament held at Nischwitz Stadium on the campus of Wright State in Dayton, Ohio.[2] Fourth seeded Butler won their second Horizon League Championship and earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2000 NCAA Division I baseball tournament.
