Lasi, or Las (Asomtavruli: ; Nuskhuri: ; Mkhedruli: ლ or ჺ; Mtavruli: Ლ Georgian: ლასი, ლას) is the 12th letter of the three Georgian scripts.[1]

In the system of Georgian numerals, it has a value of 30.[2] Lasi commonly represents the voiced velarized alveolar approximant /ɫ/[3] before back vowels, like the pronunciation of ⟨l⟩ in "feel", and the alveolar lateral approximant /l/ before front vowels, like the pronunciation of ⟨l⟩ in "lord". It is typically romanized with the letter L.[4]

The mkhedruli form has become popular as an emoticon in the Western world due to its resemblance to a paw, hand or fist and as part of an emoticon, is often rendered as: ლ(╹◡╹ლ).
