Tylna (German: Hinter-Berg) is a mountain in the Włodzickie Hills (Wzgórza Włodzickie), part of the Central Sudetes in south-western Poland. The summit rises to 557 metres (1,827 ft) above sea level.[1]
Geography
Tylna lies in Kłodzko County in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, near the town of Nowa Ruda. The mountain forms part of the Włodzickie Hills, a group of rounded elevations located between the Owl Mountains and the Table Mountains in the Central Sudetes.[2]
The Włodzickie Hills extend for about 20 km in the basin of the Włodzica River and its tributaries.[2] Tylna lies among a group of nearby summits including Pisztyk, Kościelec and Pardelówka.[3]
Landscape
The mountain is mostly covered with mixed forest typical of the Sudetes. Forest roads and local paths connect the slopes of Tylna with neighbouring hills and with the surrounding settlements in the Nowa Ruda region.[3]
