Tân Phước (Vietnamese: Phường Tân Phước) is a ward of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It is one of the 168 new wards, communes and special zones of the city following the reorganization in 2025.[4][5]
Geography
Tân Phước is located south of Ho Chi Minh City, formerly used to be in Ba Ria - Vung Tau. The ward is located on the route from Saigon to Bà Rịa, about 60 kilometers southeast of Saigon, and has the following geographical location:
- To the north, it borders Phú Mỹ
- To the east, it borders Châu Pha
- To the south, it borders Tân Hải
- To the southwest, it borders Ganh Rai Bay
- To the west, it borders Thạnh An commune with the boundary being Thị Vải River.
According to Official Dispatch No. 2896/BNV-CQĐP dated May 27, 2025 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Tan Phuoc ward after the arrangement has an area of 83.62 km², population as of December 31, 2024 is 29,363 people, population density reaches 351 people/km².[2][6]
