Prakash Bahadur Shah (Nepali: प्रकाश बहादुर शाह) is a Nepalese politician and served as the Minister for Internal Affairs and Law[1][2][3] and the Minister for Economic Affairs[4][5] of Government of Sudurpashchim Province.[6] He was also a member of the 1st Sudurpashchim Provincial Assembly.[7] In the 2017 Nepalese provincial election, he won the election from Bajura 1(B) (constituency).[8][9]
Shah was first the parliamentary party leader of the CPN (UML),[10] later became deputy leader after the UML–Maoist merger into the NCP, and following the NCP’s dissolution was re‑elected as CPN (UML)[10] leader, eventually serving as the Leader of the Opposition in the Sudurpashchim Provincial Assembly.[11][10][12]
