Wikiproject Canada

WikiProject Canada was formed to foster better articles on the country of Canada with a spirit of cooperation. The project is a home base that provides a place for Wikipedians (editors) to discuss issues, while share information and resources regarding improvements to Canadian related articles, which can be discussed at the project's talk page.

As of 21 March 2026, there are 157,744 articles within the scope of WikiProject Canada. Including non-article pages, such as talk pages, redirects, categories, etcetera, there are 315,488 pages in the project.

To join WikiProject Canada (anyone may join), you can list your username on the members page (this is not mandatory for participation).

Canada 10,000

The Canadian 10,000 Challenge is dedicated to improvements and creations of Canadian content in relation to the The Challenge series. The main focus is on creating comprehensive articles and improving existing article quality for Canada, fleshing out those stale old stubs or bloated/poorly sourced material and clean up, though all articles are welcome. Quality new content is welcome, but please try to avoid creating shorter stubs and unsourced material.

WikiProject Canada currently has 68,571 Stub-Class articles and 66,367 Start-Class articles that should be expanded upon and improved. The project has 477 Draft-Class articles awaiting review and perhaps movement to main article space. The project also has a slew of new articles that may need assessments and reviews for problems and perhaps expansion. A listing of articles that require cleanup can be found here.
