Nová Polianka (Rusyn: Нова Полянка; Hungarian: Mérgesvágása, until 1899: Mergeska) is a village and municipality in Svidník District in the Prešov Region of north-eastern Slovakia.
History
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1414.
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 344 metres (1,129 ft)[3] and covers an area of 5.47 km2 (2.11 sq mi) (2024).[4]
