Medvedie (Rusyn: Медведже; Hungarian: Kismedvés, until 1899: Medvedze) is a village and municipality in Svidník District in the Prešov Region of north-eastern Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1572.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 365 metres (1,198 ft)[3] and covers an area of 5.04 km2 (1.95 sq mi) (2024).[4]
