Karlo Kodrić (born 2000) is a Croatian Greco-Roman wrestler who competes in the 82 kg weight class.[1] He won a bronze medal at the 2025 World Wrestling Championships in Zagreb.[2]

Career

Kodrić achieved success in age-group competitions, winning a silver medal at the 2022 U23 World Wrestling Championships in Pontevedra and a bronze medal at the 2023 U23 World Wrestling Championships in Tirana. Earlier, he also claimed a bronze medal at the 2019 European Juniors Wrestling Championships.[3]

At the 2025 World Wrestling Championships in Zagreb, Croatia, Kodrić competed in the men’s Greco-Roman 82 kg category.[4] He started in the round of 16, where he defeated Kyrgyz wrestler Bekzat Orunkul Uulu by 5–0. In the quarterfinals, he overcame Mihail Bradu of Moldova with a 4–2 victory, advancing to the semifinals. There, he was defeated 7–1 by Iranian wrestler Gholamreza Farrokhi, moving into the bronze medal match. Kodrić secured the bronze medal by defeating Switzerland’s Ramon Betschart 5–0, earning his first senior world medal.[5]
