Jedlina-Zdrój (Bad Charlottenbrunn in German) is a railway station in Jedlina-Zdrój, in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship of south-western Poland. The station lies on the railway line between Wałbrzych Główny and Kłodzko Główne and also serves as the terminus of the railway line from Świdnica.[2]
History
The railway line linking Wałbrzych with Kłodzko, on which the station is located, was opened in 1880 as part of the expansion of the railway network in the historic region of Silesia. At the time, the town was known by its German name, Bad Charlottenbrunn. The mountainous route played an important role in connecting industrial centres of Lower Silesia with the Kłodzko Valley.
Jedlina-Zdrój later became a junction station with the construction of the railway line from Świdnica. Passenger services on this line ceased in 1992 but were restored in June 2023 following modernisation works on the route.[3]
