Janík (Hungarian: Jánok) is a village and municipality in Košice-okolie District in the Kosice Region of eastern Slovakia.

History

The village is first mentioned in historical records in 1285.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 188 metres (617 ft)[3] and covers an area of 19.86 km2 (7.67 sq mi) (2025).[4]
