Islam Yevloyev (born 23 September 2004) is a Kazakh Greco-Roman wrestler. He won the silver medal at the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games.[1][2]
Career
Yevloyev won the silver medal at the 2023 Asian U23 Wrestling Championships in Bishkek in the men's Greco-Roman 82 kg event.[3]
In 2025, he competed at the 2025 World Wrestling Championships in Zagreb. He reached the quarter-finals after defeating Armenia's Vigen Nazaryan 3–1, and later finished fifth in the men's Greco-Roman 87 kg category after losing in the bronze-medal stage.[4][5]
Later in 2025, Yevloyev won the silver medal at the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh. He advanced to the final in the 87 kg division after defeating Algeria's Sid Bachir in the semi-finals.[6] In the final, he lost to a reigning world champion and finished with silver.[7] After the event, he said that his international career was only beginning and that he intended to show more in future competitions.[8]
In February 2026, Yevloyev was mentioned by United World Wrestling as a former U20 world champion and as one of the notable contenders at 87 kg in the Asian Championships preview.[9]
