"Andromeda" is a song by Croatian folk-pop all-female band Lelek. The song will represent Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 after winning Croatia's Eurovision national final, Dora 2026.
Background and composition
"Andromeda" was written by Tomislav Roso and composed by Filip Lacković, Zorica Pajić (known professionally as Zorja), and Lazar Pajić.
In the Dora performance of the song as well as on the cover art, the group prominently displays markings reminiscent of the Catholic folk custom sicanje, tattoos worn by ethnic Croats to ward off Ottoman violence or forced conversion.[1]
Eurovision 2026
Lelek will perform the song in the first half of the first semi-final on 12 May 2026.[2]
