Allai (Sardinian: Àllai) is a village and comune (municipality) in the Province of Oristano in the autonomous island region of Sardinia in Italy, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Cagliari and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) east of Oristano. It has 338 inhabitants.[3]

Allai borders the municipalities of Busachi, Fordongianus, Ruinas, Samugheo, Siamanna, Siapiccia, and Villaurbana.

Demographics

As of 2025, the population is 338, of which 50.3% are male, and 49.7% are female. Minors make up 10.9% of the population, and seniors make up 33.1%.[4]

Of the 331 residents at the time of the most recent count that included countries of birth, residents' countries of birth included the following countries, in descending order of frequency: Italy (317 – 95.8%), Germany (10 – 3%).[7]
