Albagiara (Sardinian: Ollasta), is a village and comune (municipality) in the Province of Oristano in the autonomous island region of Sardinia in Italy, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northwest of Cagliari and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southeast of Oristano. It has 227 inhabitants.[3]

The economy is based on agriculture and woodcraft.

Albagiara borders the municipalities of Ales, Assolo, Genoni, Gonnosnò, Mogorella, Usellus, and Villa Sant'Antonio.

Demographics

As of 2025, the population is 227, of which 48.9% are male, and 51.1% are female. Minors make up 11% of the population, and seniors make up 39.2%.[4]

Immigration

Of the 224 residents at the time of the most recent count that included countries of birth, residents' countries of birth included the following countries, in descending order of frequency: Italy (217 – 96.9%), Romania (2 – 0.9%), Kyrgyzstan (2 – 0.9%).[7]
