The 2026 Faroe Islands Premier League is the 84th edition of top-tier football in the Faroe Islands and the 21st season under the current format. The season will be played from March to October 2026.[1][2]
Teams
The league consisted of ten teams; the top eight teams from the previous season, and two teams promoted from the 1. deild. KÍ entered the season as defending champions.
The promoted teams were the 2025 1. deild champions Skála and runners-up AB. They replaced the 2025 Faroe Islands Premier League bottom two teams Suðuroy and TB.

- ^ The 2026 Faroe Islands Cup winners qualify for the Conference League first qualifying round (or the second-placed team of the Faroe Islands Premier League if the Faroe Islands Cup winners finish first). If the Faroe Islands Cup winners finish in the top three of the Faroe Islands Premier League, the second Conference League first qualifying round spot will be passed to the fourth-placed team.
