The 2025–26 Detroit Pistons season is the 85th season of the franchise, the 78th in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and the ninth in Midtown Detroit.
From October 29 to November 26, 2025, the Pistons won 13 consecutive games, tied for the longest in franchise history.[2] On March 1, 2026, following a win over the Orlando Magic, not only did the Pistons surpass their win total from the 2024–25 season, but they also clinched their best record since the 2007–08 season.

The Pistons held one second-round pick entering the draft.[3][4] They had previously traded their 2025 first-round pick to the Houston Rockets in 2020 as it fell outside of its top-13 protection following Detroit's 2025 playoff berth; the pick was eventually used by the Minnesota Timberwolves on draft night.[5]
