The 2025–26 Miami Heat season is the team's 38th season for the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

During a March 10, 2026 game against the Washington Wizards, Bam Adebayo scored 83 points, surpassing Kobe Bryant's record for the second most points scored in a single NBA game behind Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game.

The Heat entered the draft with a single first-round pick, which they had acquired from the Golden State Warriors via trade in the previous season as an exchange for forward Jimmy Butler.[1][2] Their original first-round pick was held by the Oklahoma City Thunder via the Los Angeles Clippers as a result of the 2019 four-team trade wherein Miami acquired Butler from the Philadelphia 76ers in return, while their second-round pick was held by Golden State via the Indiana Pacers.
