The 2024–25 Liga 4 West Papua was the inaugural season of Liga 4 West Papua, following the restructuring of the Indonesian football league system. The competition was organised by the West Papua Provincial PSSI Association (Asprov PSSI Papua Barat).[1]
The tournament was contested by clubs from West Papua Province. The champion qualified for the national phase of the 2024–25 Liga 4, which serves as a pathway to promotion to Liga Nusantara (third tier).
Regulations
According to regulations issued by PSSI for the 2024–25 season, Liga 4 is governed by the following provisions:
Clubs
- Registered PSSI member clubs or candidate member clubs approved by the provincial PSSI congress.
- Club registration conducted through the online SIAP (Sistem Informasi dan Administrasi PSSI) system.
- All participating clubs compete at the provincial stage.
Players and officials
- Players born between 1 January 2002 and 31 December 2006, with a maximum of seven senior players allowed.
- Maximum of 35 registered players per club.
- Head coaches must hold at least a PSSI B License.
- Maximum of 10 registered officials per club.
- Player registration conducted through the SIAP system.
