Electors
Voters in Indiana chose 12 electors in accordance with Article Two of the United States Constitution, which provides that each state appoint a number of electors equal to its representation in the United States Congress. Since 1936, Indiana's electors have been selected by block voting in a statewide general election. The electors meet in the Indiana House of Representatives chamber of the Indiana Statehouse in Indianapolis on the second Wednesday in December following the election and vote for president and vice president.[9]
