A by-election was held in the Dáil constituency of Cork North-East in Ireland on Wednesday, 13 November 1974. It followed the death of Fianna Fáil TD Liam Ahern on 13 July 1974.[1]
The writ of election to fill the vacancy was agreed by the Dáil on 23 October 1974.[2]
The by-election was won by the Fianna Fáil candidate Seán Brosnan.[3]
