The 1942 Maryland comptroller election was held on November 3, 1942, in order to elect the comptroller of Maryland. Democratic nominee and incumbent comptroller J. Millard Tawes won re-election as he ran unopposed.[1]
General election
On election day, November 3, 1942, Democratic nominee J. Millard Tawes won re-election as he ran unopposed, thereby retaining Democratic control over the office of comptroller. Tawes was sworn in for his second term on January 3, 1943.[2]
