Zehra Demirhan (born 5 August 2001 in Siirt) is a Turkish female freestyle wrestler. She competes in the 50 kg division for Ankara ASKİ Sports Club and the Turkish national team.[1] She is the sister of wrestler Evin Demirhan.[2]

Career

At the 2023 European U23 Wrestling Championships held in Bucharest, Romania, Demirhan won the bronze medal in the women's freestyle 50 kg event by defeating Poland's Amanda Tomczyk 6–1 in the bronze medal match. She advanced to the semi-finals after defeating Ukraine's Snizhana Onufriieva by technical superiority, 10–0, in the opening round and Finland's Taru Vainionpää 3–0 in the quarter-finals. She then lost 8–0 to France's Emma Luttenauer in the semi-finals.[3]

She won the silver medal at the 2024 European U23 Wrestling Championships in Baku.[4] Demirhan also won bronze medals at the 2021 World Junior Wrestling Championships in Ufa and the 2021 European Juniors Wrestling Championships in Dortmund.[5]
