Zaidpur is a constituency of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly covering the city of Zaidpur in the Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh, India.[1][2]
Zaidpur is one of five assembly constituencies in the Barabanki Lok Sabha constituency. Since 2008, this assembly constituency is numbered 269 amongst 403 constituencies. It is reserved for Scheduled Caste candidates, although Muslims make up a large fraction of the electorate.

Husainiya Mir Mukhlis Hussain Rizvi
Husainiya Mir Mukhlis Hussain Rizvi or Meer Mukhlis Hussain Rizvi, born in Zaidpur. He was noted as a collectrate to Awadh's last Nawab Wajid Ali Shah. He built an Imambara in Zaidpur named after him Imambargah Husainiya Mir Mukhlis Hussain Rizvi in Zaidpur. He was shoot (Martyed) by the British gerenal lord Dalhousie in 1857 (after the revolt) in Victoria Street, Lucknow during Namaz. He hold two titles Raees e Zaidpur and Raees e Aazam. Mir Mukhlis Hussain has one son named Ali Yousef. His grand son named Ali Shaheer also built an Imambargah named Imambargah Husainiya Mir Ali Shaheer Rizvi. A Imambargah in Mirchiya named Husainiya Mir Ali Zaheer Rizvi was also built by his grand son.
