Yorrys Raweyai (born 28 January 1951) is an Indonesian politician from Papua.[1] He was elected as a member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD RI) representing the Central Papua constituency for the 2024–2029 term, garnering 179,828 votes.[2] On 2 October 2024, he was elected as the Vice Speaker of the DPD RI.[3]

Previously, he served as a member of the People's Representative Council (DPR RI) representing the Golkar Party. During his tenure, he was assigned to Commission I, which oversees defense, intelligence, foreign affairs, and information technology.[4]

Education

Raweyai was born 18 January 1951 in Serui, Indonesia. He graduated from YPK High School in 1969, then from a Language and Petroleum Management Course in the United Kingdom in 1973.
