Wittislingen is a municipality in the district of Dillingen in Bavaria in Germany.

In September 2004, all 23 members of a fake "national handball team" representing Sri Lanka in a Bavarian handball tournament disappeared from their hotel in Wittislingen. The incident is one of many involving Sri Lankan athletes disappearing in foreign countries, and was depicted in the 2008 film Machan.[3][4][5][6]
