William Green is an English journalist and author, best known for his works about investing and personal development.[2] He is the author of Richer, Wiser, Happier: How the World's Greatest Investors Win in Markets and Life.[3][4]

Early life and education

William Green was born and raised in London, England.[5] He attended Eton College where he studied English literature at the University of Oxford before earning a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University.[2]

Career

Green started his career in journalism, writing for publications such as Time, Fortune, Forbes, The New Yorker and The Economist.[6][2] He has also worked as a ghostwriter, co-author, and editor on several books namely, The Education of a Value Investor. He is a senior advisor to the Global Value team at First Eagle Investments.[7] In 2021, he published his well known book, Richer, Wiser, Happier. The book is a collection of various interviews with over forty prominent investors including Charlie Munger, Howard Marks, and Mohnish Pabrai.[4][8][9]
