Weirius is a genus of beetle of the family Curculionidae.[1] It is monotypic, being represented by the single species, Weirius suturalis, which is found in Australia (New South Wales, Queensland).[2][3]

Description

Adults reach a length of about 3.2–3.7 mm (0.13–0.15 in). They are dark reddish-brown, with the legs and antennae paler. They are densely clothed with greyish-white scales mottled with darker ones, becoming whitish, or with a faint bluish tinge, on the underside.[3]
