Provincial road 381 (Droga wojewódzka nr 381), also designated DW 381, is a voivodeship road in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in south-western Poland. The route is about 54 km long and connects Wałbrzych with Kłodzko, passing through Jedlina-Zdrój, Głuszyca and Nowa Ruda.[1][2]
The road runs through the mountainous area of the Sudetes and forms an important regional connection between the Wałbrzych area and the Kłodzko Valley.[2]
Route
DW 381 begins in Wałbrzych and runs south through Jedlina-Zdrój and Głuszyca before reaching Nowa Ruda. From there it continues toward Kłodzko, where it connects with the national road network in the Kłodzko area.[3]
Along its route the road intersects several other regional routes, including DW 383 near Jedlina-Zdrój and DW 380 in the Głuszyca area.[2]
History
Several infrastructure projects have been carried out along DW 381. In Nowa Ruda, a bypass of the town on DW 381 was constructed in stages; official documentation refers to the third stage of this project.[4][5]
Maintenance and reconstruction works continue along the route. In 2023 the Polish government included the construction of a bridge on DW 381 in Głuszyca among projects financed from the national general subsidy reserve.[6]
