Vanessa Veracruz is an American former pornographic film actress, director, and activist.[1]

Career

She had been frequently described by those in the adult film industry as one of its best performers,[2][3] and her work in lesbian pornography frequently earned her nominations for industry awards,[1] such as the 32nd AVN Awards for 'Girl/Girl Performer of the Year' and 'Best Girl/Girl Series.'[4]

She has also directed adult films, including being the director and main actress in the 2015 film Living on Fantasy Lane.[4]

Activism

In response to California Proposition 60, which would require the use of condoms in pornographic films, Veracruz stated "Proposition 60 would allow anyone in the state to sue and harass us. It would make us vulnerable for stalkers. It would push us underground and out of the state."[5] Proposition 60 would eventually fail, with 54% of voters denying the propositon.[6]

She also co-hosted a cancer benefit with fellow pornographic film actress Carter Cruise, created to help a college friend of Cruise's who was battling leukemia.[7]
