Upham F.C. are a long running amateur football club based in Upham, a small village and civil parish located 7 miles south east of Winchester in Hampshire, England.

The club are affiliated to the Hampshire Football Association and are members of the Southampton League.

History

Football has been played in Upham since the 1920's[1]. The original club were long standing members of the Meon Valley League before going out of existence.

The present day version was founded in 1974. For many years they played in the Winchester & District League, before progressing on the North Hants League, which they won in 2004 - becoming the competitions last ever champions.[2]

Upham then became founder members of the Hampshire League 2004,[3] but despite finishing runners-up and winning the Trophyman League Cup[4] they dropped out in 2007.[5]

After a very successful spell of rebuilding back in the Winchester League,[6] Upham returned to the county scene in 2010. They soon became regular title contenders and twice more won the Trophyman League Cup. Three years later the competition then became Division 1 of the Hampshire Premier League,[7] where they remained a steady midtable side.

Since 2025, Upham have operated fully in the Southampton League.
