Trash is a 2025 French animated short film written and directed by eight French artists[1] during their studies at ESMA,[2] an animation school based in France. The 6-minutes animated film following the rivalry between a rat and a pigeon has been awarded[3] in various international film festivals,[4] including Animayo Gran Canaria[5] and SIGGRAPH.[6] The film also received the BAFTA Student Film Award for Best Animation.[7]
Plot
A rat and a pigeon fight over a piece of pizza, fending, beck and claws, for their survival.
