The Trống Đồng Stadium is a proposed 135,000-seater stadium to be built in Hanoi, Vietnam. If completed, it will be the largest by capacity in the world.

History

The groundbreaking for the Trống Đồng Stadium took place on 19 December 2025. It is part of a larger sports complex in Hanoi by Vingroup.[1][2]

Facilities

The Trống Đồng Stadium, sitting on a 73.3 hectares (181 acres) land, will have a seating capacity of 135,000 and is expected to be the largest stadium in the world. The stadium will have a retractable roof.[2][3] Its facade is patterned after the Dong Son drum and has elements inspired from the Lạc bird.[4]
