Synopsis
Laura, who grew up on a beautiful tropical island with her friends Chip and Gem, is a lawyer in San Francisco, on the verge of a promotion. When the firm’s biggest client (Chip’s grandfather) asks Laura to travel to her childhood home to deliver a contract to make Chip his heir, Laura returns to the island to convince Chip to sign the contract – which will also make her a partner in the firm.
On her arrival, the chemistry between Chip and Laura is palpable, however Chip is not interested in signing the contract. The two come to an agreement – for every fun island activity Laura does, Chip will read a page of the contract. As the pair grow closer, Laura ponders her engagement to her fiance Owen and whether she actually belongs with her childhood sweetheart, Chip.[2]
