Thick Rich and Delicious is the 42nd studio album by American indie rock band Guided by Voices, released on October 31, 2025. The announcement included the release of the lead single "(You Can't Go Back To) Oxford Talawanda".
Background
The album combines new material with previously unrecorded songs from the band's earlier years.[1]
The band has attributed the hook in "Oxford Talawanda" to a melody singer Robert Pollard had carried for years before bringing it to tape.[1]
