The Heat is a song by Japanese seven-member dance and vocal group Psychic Fever from Exile Tribe. It was released as a digital single by LDH Records on March 2, 2024, and later included on the group’s second extended play (EP), Psychic File II, released on April 3, 2024.[1]
The lyrics were written by Elione, while the composition was handled by Gabriel Brandes, Alexander Karlsson, Harry Sommerdahl, and Fabian Torsson.[2]
Background
The track was produced as the kickoff song for the group's first solo Asia tour, Psychic Fever Asia Tour 2024 “Heat”. Its lyrics convey the members’ passion and determination for the tour.[1]
As suggested by the title "The Heat", the track’s theme centers on intensity and energy. It captures the group’s slogan, "Ignite Our Dream," symbolizing their enthusiasm and experiences gained through their activities across Asia, including Japan.[3]
According to the music magazine Out of Music, the song features a mid-tempo hip-hop base layered with emotionally resonant melodies and vocals, gradually building in heat and momentum as it progresses.[3]

Beginning in May 2024, "The Heat" was performed as the opening number for each concert on the group's first solo Asia tour, Psychic Fever Asia Tour 2024 “Heat”.[4]
