Tajov (Hungarian: Tajó) is a village and municipality in Banská Bystrica District in the Banská Bystrica Region of central Slovakia.[4]

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1495.[1]

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 478 metres (1,568 ft)[3] and covers an area of 9.28 km2 (3.58 sq mi) (2024).[5] It is situated on outskirts of Banská Bystrica, under the Kremnica Mountains.
